International School Leaders (ISL) Program and International School System Leaders Program (ISSL) Instructors who deliver program online and onsite around the world must have:
✓ evidence of highly effective teaching with adults
✓ flexibility and ready availability for assignment, without barriers
✓ other interests in the field that are free of conflict of interest
✓ international experience, both personal and professional
✓ evidence of entrepreneurial spirit and success
✓ cultural intelligence
✓ Master of Education
✓ a minimum of five years’ experience as a highly effective principal to deliver the ISL Program
✓ a minimum of five years of experience as a highly effective system leader (boards, municipalities, or ministries) with direct responsibility for individual schools to deliver ISSL Program
✓ experience as an online learner or instructor
✓ strong English language skills (with French or other languages as an asset)
✓ school leadership certificate (licence)
Consultants who may be involved in the delivery of program, research, reporting, policy, and procedure development must have:
✓ international experience that has built the requisite skills and knowledge
✓ experience with large educational projects
✓ flexibility ready availability for assignment, without barriers
✓ other interests in the field that are free of conflict of interest
✓ evidence of highly effective teaching of adults
✓ evidence of entrepreneurial spirit and success
✓ Doctorate of Education or Master of Education
✓ strong English language skills (with French or other languages as an asset)
ISL continues to identify individuals, companies, and organizations around the globe to assist in building our market share of leadership training.
Regional Representatives must have:
✓ other interests in the field that are free of conflict of interest
✓ regional connections and interests
✓ strong regional reputations
✓ commitment to school and system improvement
✓ strong English language skills (with French or other languages as an asset)
✓ evidence of entrepreneurial spirit and success
✓ knowledge of regional K-12 educational issues and needs
All three roles are part-time commitments under independent contract. If you meet the criteria for any of the roles and wish to express your interest in working with ISL, please proceed to the next step. You will need your CV readily available.
