     7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Description:

Difficult situations demand the best a School Leader has to offer in diplomacy, communication skills and conflict management. The development of effective skills in addressing contentious issues is an essential leadership competency and contributes significantly to collaborative school culture. Consistently applying inter-personal skills that promote “open-to-learning” conversations is also a key element of sustained school improvement. Further, the viability and credibility of the individual school leader is often determined by how challenging conversations are addressed.

Course Format:

1 ½ hour online workshop using Adobe Connect – 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM Eastern Standard Time

Discussion is guided by a highly qualified instructor who engages participants in a rich discussion.  Participants follow a powerpoint, listen to the instructor, and respond to questions and ideas using the chat feature.
